About agnesmusic studio
agnesmusic studio is a music school that offers an ideal education in the foundation of music as well as its execution. This valuable education provides an understanding, appreciation, and proficiency in music. The benefits of both learning and performing music are lifelong, since they develop cognitive and auditory skills, improve hand-eye coordination, and foster creative thinking. Moreover, this education will provide students with a musical language, not bound by generations or cultures, that can express emotions and beauty.

Piano Lessons
Piano lessons are available to anyone over the age of four. Lessons are designed to enhance one’s understanding of music theory as well as to perfect one’s expertise in musical performance. All students are strongly encouraged to perform a recital once a semester.

Voice Lessons
agnesmusic studio assists those preparing for any vocal auditions, such as musical theatre, NJ Youth Choirs, or summer music camps. Vocal lessons are also available for those seeking to improve their singing voice.

Piano Accompaniment
Piano accompaniment is available if needed. Popular demands for accompaniment include preparation for exams, choir auditions, orchestra, or recordings for college admissions.


Agnes Kim, Piano
Agnes Kim holds Master of Music from Indiana University at Bloomington and Bachelor of Music from University of Colorado at Boulder where she majored in piano performance and minored in voice. She is a recipient of major full scholarships and a teaching assistantship through her years in CU and IU which led her abundant opportunities to perform and teach. Her career as a performing artist shined through winning several local and state piano competitions, participating summer music festivals such as Aspen Music Festival in Aspen, CO, Adamant Piano Festival, VT and Arkansas Music Festival in Fayetteville, AR where she performed many solo recitals, chamber music concerts, and appearing as a solo pianist with an orchestra in concerto concerts. With her career as a piano teacher for over 20 years, she has worked several music schools in New York and New Jersey including Elefante Music, New Providence, NJ. Her students participated local competitions, such as Steinway Piano Competitions and Crescendo International Piano Competitions and they performed in the Carnegie Hall and the Steinway Concert Hall in New York City.
